STAUS REPORT
September 21-24, 1999
This report is intended
to provide a weekly project update regarding the major developments for the remediation work at Bennettts Dump. Included are progress updates, sample analytical results, schedule updates waste shipping information and field change decisions. Complete sampling logs, shipping logs and air monitoring and meteorological data logs are available at the site.
On September 29, a weekly project stems meets was held at the Bennen's Dump site.The attendance sheet is attached.
- 200 trucks shipped 4,985.88 tons of material to EQ for disposal during weel; of 9-21-99. A total of 13,710,89 tons have been shipped as of 9-26-99.
- Recovered 593 capacitors during the week 9-21-99. Total of l 125 capacitors has been recovered thru
9-26-99.

4 rolloffs of capacitors were shipped off this week weighing a total of
63.48 tons.
- Continued removing overburden from grids that require excavation.
- Conmtinued excavating; and sampling grids from ibe north part of the main area to the south.
- Continued chasing capacitors and puts in main area.

- Continued personnel air sampling Result for operator in main area on 9-22-'99 was 0.0066mg/m3 for PCBs. Result for operator in load out area on 9-23-99 was 0.0142 mg/m3 for
YCBs. Result for Moxy operater on 9-24-99
was 0.0027 maim] for PCBs. Action levelof PCBs is 0.125mg/m3.
